ELECTRONIC SCORING

The EDJBA has introduced LAPTOP scoring to every venue this season, replacing the current paper scoresheet. If you did not attend one of our training sessions, please click on the link below for a demonstration. It is each team's responsibility to provide scorers, and therefore all must eventually learn how to do this.

Our Values at Balwyn Blazers

At Blazers, we are committed to our TREDS values across all members of the Club - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Development and Sportsmanship. We encourage all players, parents & spectators to embrace these values. I'm really proud of our Club - thanks for being a part of it.

Refereeing - Did you know that referees at Balwyn home courts now fall under our Club's duty of care?

They now CHOOSE to ref at Balwyn, where previously they were allocated here. I know from personal experience as a coach that it is sometimes frustrating when you don't see things the way referees do... please just be mindful that they are also human and deserve respect, just like we all do. I want us to have the best refereeing culture in the EDJBA and that can only happen with the support of everyone in the Club. I will also encourage our refs to be open in dialogue with coaches. Let's make sure we give our refs a pat on the back, even after a hotly contested game that you felt a little hard done by!

Don't forget to visit our coaches section including information about our Facebook coach resource page. Please have a look by clicking here or on the coaches tab above located in the menu bar.
